Simone is an accomplished broadcaster, writer and producer with over 13 years of experience in both television and radio.

Born with the gift of gab and a strong desire to connect with the community, Simone graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology Broadcast Communications program.

Simone is a native of Metro Vancouver and enjoys being a part of the CBC Vancouver Weekend team and connecting with viewers.

Outside of work, Simone enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and young son. Like every true Vancouverite, she also enjoys the indoors on a rainy day.

Even with Simone's busy schedule, she finds time to volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and BC Childrens Hospital.
